How you can help

Make a donation:
If you’re a tax payer, using Gift Aid can add an extra 28 per cent, so let us know! You can send cheques to Hospice of the Valleys, Morgan Street, Tredegar NP22 3ND

Donate to our six charity shops:
Have a clear out at home. It’ll make you feel better and you could donate any unwanted clothes, furniture, books and bric-a-brac to one our six charity shops, which are run solely by volunteers.

Payroll giving:
Some employers operate a payroll giving scheme – if a scheme exists it will be simple to set up this system.

Join our 50p a Week campaign:
Sign up to give the Hospice of the Valleys a minimum of £2 a month donation. Please click here for a form. Forms are also available from the hospice office and all our charity shops.

Leave us a legacy:
Such gifts are very precious to the Hospice of the Valleys, as they help ensure we are able to carry on our essential work in Blaenau Gwent. Call 01495 717277 for advice on how to do this.

Hold a fundraising event:
Organise anything from a coffee morning to a sponsored walk – let us know what you’re doing and we’ll give you as much help and support as you need.
See below for some practical advice.

Help us recycle:
By giving us your old mobile telephones you don’t use anymore, you can help us make money through recycling and you’ll be helping the environment at the same time.

Become a volunteer:
Join the ranks of our 130 plus volunteers and help at our hospice’s clinics or charity shops.
